It seems that most of the vintage posts on this blog seem to revolve around backyard sales and Dapper Day and I really aim to change that. There’s an entire community that revolves around vintage and its pretty fun to be apart of! This article covers the style at Paper Moon Vintage (the first vintage store I ever went to) and their Tiki-Hawaiian party!
While I spent a lot of time in Paris and London with my family sightseeing, I definitely made a point to put a focus on menswear. As a poor grad student with loans looming over his head, another trip to Europe doesn’t seem too likely, at least for a few years. As a result, I used what ever free time I had to meet up with Instagram mutuals and check out fantastic menswear stores that we just don’t have in Los Angeles. Here are the people I had the pleasure of meeting!

Paris was the first top in my short 2-week Eurotrip. Like most family trips, my stay in the City of Lights was dominated by a strict schedule of tours and excursions. While I have gotten extremely lucky buying suits at Goodwill, eBay always seems to hold up, especially if you want something ivy! Unlike 1930’s suits or modern Ring Jacket suits, vintage pieces from the 1960s-1970s tends to be fairly cheap and readily available. This amazing mid-to-late 1960s suit from Brooks Brothers is no exception and perfect for spring! I actually got this suit done a while ago and only recently got around to shooting it now. Read More
