I am always on the search for “softly tailored” garments:  little/no shoulder padding, unstructured and barely any lining.   In fact, it is this detail that gives contemporary tailoring a slight edge over vintage pieces for me.  When the two are combined however, you best know that I’ll be all over it.  I think I just found the perfect casual vintage suit!

Street x Sprezza takes Dapper Day Spring 2015

Dapper Day is a bi-annual event that takes place at Disneyland and Disneyworld.  As annual pass holders, Tim and I are always there every year and this time we brought along our friend Spencer! Now, Dapper Day was inspired by the fact that concept art of Disneyland was made in the 1950’s and back in those days, people still dressed up!   For our outfits, we decided to go a bit earlier and be the most dapper and well dressed we could be.

Styles of the 2015 Vintage Fashion Expo

This weekend I was able to go to the 2015 Vintage Fashion Expo in Downtown Los Angeles.  Vintage fashion is a personal hobby of mine.  While I do love wearing modern clothes, there is something about the cut and patterns of the 1920s-1950’s that interest me.  So this weekend, I went to the Expo wearing one of my favourite and most unique vintage pieces.  I was also able to snap a few shots of people’s fashion  that I enjoyed!
