Sweaters have been around for a long time. Today, guys mainly wear them two ways: as a replacement shirt (crew neck) or as a layering item for business casual (v-neck). Don’t get me wrong, sweaters are great! However, there is something about the styles and patterns of vintage sweaters that make them such an awesome piece for me. They go great with more formal clothes, to give you that smart, “vintage” look!
Valentine’s Day is this coming Weekend and it’s important to look good. Last time we explored the different outfits for different occasions. This year we’re going a little different. While we normally have a pro-tie stance, sometimes it’s best to go against the grain and ditch the tie. However, the lack of tie doesn’t give you an excuse to dress down! Here are some tie-less looks that can work best for any of your Valentine’s Day plans!

Recently, I made a point to try out a MTM suit by Indochino, a custom suiting and shirt company started in 2007. I have seen other reviews of this service by Articles of Style, Dappered, and even the Young and Fine Gentleman. To try it out for myself, I saved up a couple hundred bucks and purchased a suit, made from the measurements I provided.
Now this review was written a while ago, since I have worn this suit (after tailoring) many, many, many times. This review shows the original, unaltered garment that I received right out of the box.
Suits have a bad rap. Menswear bloggers today are dedicated to making suits and formal wear look as casual as possible. For example, Dan Trepanier has an article on wearing Henley’s with your suit and HVRMINN wears Nike’s with his sharp DB’s. It seems that the suit (and its traditional accoutrements) has not shaken its pariah status among the masses. Don’t get me wrong; I’m all about dressing down a suit, but I’m still a standing fan of the classic suit worn. To my knowledge, there’s only a few men that can make wearing a suit look natural and easy, and I have the pleasure of featuring one of those masters. I present Chad Park from B&Tailor.

Everyone loves a great Christmas sweater. They’re festive, colorful, and instantly adds fun to any Holiday party. There’s nothing more fall than tweed! This past weekend, I was able to enjoy not only a dinner with my family but with my friends. My outfit for the family party was casual, but I was able to break out the old tweed suit for a dinner party hosted by my pals, Spencer and Jay. Us three got into the spirit of fall by wearing some dope tweed outfits! We’ve got all three variations of tweed in here: herringbone, fleck, and glen plaid! Check them out.
