Paris was the first top in my short 2-week Eurotrip. Like most family trips, my stay in the City of Lights was dominated by a strict schedule of tours and excursions. This article will share the outfits I wore on the trip as well as give a brief summary of what I did during that day! It’s a small departure of the usual content on this blog, but I hope you enjoy it.
While we can talk about our own outfits at the 2017 Spring Outing, it’s great to let other people have the spotlight. Even though most of the day was filed with disneybounding (or dapper bounding), there were a few individuals who really knocked it out of the park, pun intended!
While I have gotten extremely lucky buying suits at Goodwill, eBay always seems to hold up, especially if you want something ivy! Unlike 1930’s suits or modern Ring Jacket suits, vintage pieces from the 1960s-1970s tends to be fairly cheap and readily available. Pitti Uomo, the bi-annual tradeshow and site of #menswear pilgrimage, has come and gone again. Men of course were dressed in a variety of styles, whether they were classic like the Armoury boys or overly peacocking like AE Marmora. Even though we couldn’t attend, my friends decided to be inspired and dress up. Instead of going a bit crazy like we did last time, we went with more subdued and classic styles.
