Dapper Day is my version of Pitti Uomo; street style abounds! People are able to go around Disneyland and dress up in style, whether its vintage, vintage inspired, or modern! Since it is Spring, the guys and I decided to take our vintage style to the next level. Most people make the misconception that vintage clothes are all made of thick wools and are only available in muted, boring colors. However, the 1940’s were still stylin’ in hot weather! They had a variety of fabrics that were still breathable and and comfortable to wear and were especially light colored for spring and summer fashion! Our outfits for Spring Dapper Day give you real evidence that vintage suit style is still creative, fun, and colorful!

This post focuses on fashion from the 1920s-1960s. If you want to read a detailed article on how you can have vintage style by mixing modern and true vintages pieces, read it here.
The above image from a Russian catalog shows how cuts of suits changed from 1923-1943. It’s these subtle details that show that not all vintage looks are the same. Each decade had their own ideas on fit, proportion and styling.
Vintage isn’t a blanket term. You don’t just put on suspenders and a flat cap and say “I’m vintage”. Heck, not all vintage is the same. Just like there are differences in styles between the 2000s and 2010s, there are plenty of differences within each vintage decade.
Read MoreLately we’ve been focusing on some editorial content, like wearing a polo with a suit or wearing a double breasted suit. It’s time to take a short break from my mouthpiece and take a look at what the guys have been wearing lately! While a majority of the outfits on this blog are sartorially themed, each of us put our personality into each of our outfits. They might all involve trousers, dress shoes, and button-up shirts, but it’s the unexpected pieces that truly mark our personal style.

Standard shirt approached me to do a review of their shirt after they read my review on Indochino! Obviously, I jumped at the chance; who doesn’t like a crisp, white shirt?

Sweaters have been around for a long time. Today, guys mainly wear them two ways: as a replacement shirt (crew neck) or as a layering item for business casual (v-neck). Don’t get me wrong, sweaters are great! However, there is something about the styles and patterns of vintage sweaters that make them such an awesome piece for me. They go great with more formal clothes, to give you that smart, “vintage” look!

Everyone loves a great Christmas sweater. They’re festive, colorful, and instantly adds fun to any Holiday party. Now, not many guys have one (or want to), so we’re going to look at a few outfits from the regulars at Street x Sprezza and see how they use both traditional Christmas patterns and normal sweaters to create an outfit for those upcoming Holiday parties!

There’s nothing more fall than tweed! This past weekend, I was able to enjoy not only a dinner with my family but with my friends. My outfit for the family party was casual, but I was able to break out the old tweed suit for a dinner party hosted by my pals, Spencer and Jay. Us three got into the spirit of fall by wearing some dope tweed outfits! We’ve got all three variations of tweed in here: herringbone, fleck, and glen plaid! Check them out.
