Outfits at an Exceedingly Warm Fall Soiree
Fall is supposed to be the time of year when the weather starts to cool down a bit, but that definitely wasn’t the case for this Dapper Day. Even though the temperature was almost 100 degrees on Dapper Day, park-goers still showed up in their classy clothes! Here, we look at some of the awesome menswear that we thought stood out to us!
An Art Deco Cruise
Before airplanes and road trips took over America, the cruise was the premier vacation. You get to sail to exotic places while dining with the captain, play shuffleboard with your neighbors, or simply take a stroll on the deck to gaze upon the starlight reflected on the sea. While its true dressing well can be expensive, it’s only expensive when you go for high end products and never shop sales. Here’s a short little post on something super important to do after buying a suit. Nothing is ever good “simply off the rack”. A “Mad Men” Evening feat. Spencer and Jay
It is my belief that the rise of menswear in this modern era has its roots in the critically-acclaimed show “Mad Men”. Guys started wearing suits more, putting a pocket square in that razor thin square fold, and even brought the fedora back in some circles. A while ago, I had the pleasure of shooting Spencer and Jay, the most well dressed high schoolers I know. They love the show and carefully evoke the style in their outfits. As we had a swell dinner at South Coast Plaza, I just had to snap some pictures of these guys!
