We never tire of events here in SoCal, especially since we’re so starved when compared to all the other fashion capitals of the world. As February is finally here, it means that it’s time for our favorite (and perhaps only) trade show: Inspiration LA.
So we’re going to start releasing show notes to go along with our podcast episodes! It will help you follow along and see what we’re talking about. It’s not a full blog post, but rather just tidbits and pictures from the pod.
This latest one is all about black tie, done in anticipation of the Dapper Day x LA Phil event, which was finally an appropriate time to don evening wear.
Two Dapper Day events in a row and we aren’t tired yet! This time we get a chance to don evening wear, actually go into the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and enjoy some great music!
For the first time, we go to a LACMA x Dapper Day event in the evening. It was certainly a great way to end the first month of 2019!
Long story short, these events just get better and better. You need to join us!

It shouldn’t surprise you to know that I love vintage sweaters. Not only are they more interesting than ones today, but they just have a great silhouette for my aesthetic.

A few weekends ago, we went to the PTO Holiday Market and spent the evening in Little Tokyo.
Honestly, these posts are just an excuse to show off some silly photography of the LA menswear scene. But you like that, don’t you?
After the success of our NYC Trip, Spencer and I found ourselves wanting to do another one before the year was over. With what little vacation time we had, we booked a trip to SF and made a little adventure out of it. Unlike Seattle, this was basically a menswear trip! Only three days, but hey, we love packing our days full.
We’ve been to the Bay Area before (and even once before that), but I think we’ve evolved enough to make it a completely different experience now. We had so many friends, colleagues, and stores to meet! Read More
